Welcome to Aquarius Season!
Today we step out of the practical, serious and ambitious energy of Capricorn and into the alternative, unique and innovative energy of Aquarius and in many ways this is going to be one of the most important shifts of early 2026.
Pluto, the mighty transformer, has been in Aquarius now for nearly 1 year and we are already feeling the power of this presence in this sign. The world is ready for change, huge change, and Pluto will be the instigator of making sure that the changes we go through move us all out of slave mentality and into our mastership mentality. Wherever the Sun is shining each month is our primary focus and so it will feel a lot easier this solar month to be YOU.
Aquarian energy is the energy of the maverick, the activist, the rebel and most importantly at this time, it is the energy of the innovative inventor. We are all aware that our world is very broken, VERY broken, and we cannot continue to rebuild it or “fix” it in the ways that we have done before because they are also broken, corrupt and outdated.
The energy of Aquarius allows us to be who we truly are; it celebrates our differences and accepts them in the knowledge that when we all come together with our different tools, gifts and knowledge we can create a powerful community where we all support one another and encourage one another to BE the change we all need to see.
What is going to really bring a lot of change will be when the inner planets; Mars and Mercury ALL also move into Aquarius this solar month, joining not only the Sun and Venus sitting there, but mighty Pluto too. This will make for 5 planets sitting in the same sign of the zodiac making the influence of Aquarius a predominant thing. The inner planets are like our “fine-tuning” they nudge us along bringing in changes and energies that support us along our soul journeys. The outer planets teach us the longer lessons that need experience, growth and maturity to learn, and the inner planets help us with our direction and what to do in the now.
Here is my Blog Post on the powerful conjunction being created this month when Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Sun all join Pluto in Aquarius for the first time since the 1700’s when the world was rising up against oppression and the people were taking their power back. These are incredibly powerful and pivotal times we are coming into that will not be repeated on our planet for another few centuries, and we must make use of this energy to move ourselves forward with the solutions and abilities we need to step into a whole new earth.
On 26 January 2026 Neptune fully enters Aries for the next around 14 years! Neptune first dipped his toes into Aries in March 2025, so we got a taste of the revelations he was going to bring and the truth he was going to expose. And, we also got to have a feel of what its like to be out of the illusion of Neptune in Pisces, which we were under for the last 15 years. As Saturn has also been accompanying Neptune in Pisces and then into Aries over the last 3 years this has really upped the pressure on us all to ask ourselves in this changing world and with all the ups and downs in your personal life, “what do YOU really want?”
It has been 150 years since Neptune was last in Aries, in fact the last time Neptune was in Aries was the American Civil War. And the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was the French Revolution which preceded the American Civil War. So, we can see through history that when these planets transit these particular signs of the zodiac momentous and revolutionary change occur on the earth plane.
As astrologers we cannot express how powerful this shift is going to be. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and it carries the “I am” energy. Under the influence of Aries we naturally and easily put ourselves first and want to take action and act/react to all that goes on around us. We get to start again, to step up and to take charge of our own lives as well as the world around us.
On 14 February 2026 Saturn will follow Neptune and step fully in Aries for the next 3 years. It’s been around 28 years since Saturn was last in Aries and once again as Aries is the first sign of the zodiac this is a whole new cycle for Saturn to commence as well.
When Neptune meets Saturn in Aries we have the time of the Spiritual Warrior. A time where we take our greatest dreams and ideals and we DO something with them. We step up and stand out for what we believe in and we see through all and any illusions regarding power. We pursue our dreams and ideals whilst staying grounded in reality. And we have to be very careful that we don’t idealise independence, bravery and liberation too quickly as being the solution and the only way forward. It can be very easy under the influence of Aries, and particularly when Neptune and his illusionary energy are concerned, to over-inflate ourselves and our importance and it will also be easy to under-inflate ourselves as well. Under the influence of Aries we are learning how to use our power, learning to be who we truly are, and the importance of thinking for ourselves and following our dreams. Remember 2026 is the Year of Sovereignty where we all remember who we truly are.

On 17 February 2026 we have a Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius! Seems we just can’t get enough of this Aquarian energy.
Solar Eclipses represent new beginnings; a shift and a change in energy and what we decide upon and commit too at the time of an eclipse is often irreversible. So, be careful what you wish for!
Although not a total Solar Eclipse this Eclipse will still carry the energy for change and in particular for innovative change and a breaking free or breaking away from traditional ways of doing things, outdated habits and anything that feels overly controlled or outdated. This Eclipse will occur just days after the powerful and formidable conjunction of Neptune and Aries at 0 degrees of Aries bringing even more fuel and focus to individuality and to community.
Eclipses push us forward towards our destiny and can often present as curve balls and this Solar Eclipse occurring in the innovative energy of Aquarius who is ruled by Uranus, Mr CurveBall, will most certainly present us with some personal and global curveballs that will keep us on our toes and alert to change.
We can successfully use this Eclipse energy to help ourselves and the planet step into a new way of being. It will help us to feel more self-assured in our thoughts and beliefs and it will also give us the confidence to be and express ourselves with more ease and certainty.
This is the first Eclipse of 2026 and will be followed by a Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on 3/4 March 2026. But more about that in the Aries Newsletter next month.
As this solar month moves along allow yourself to explore anything and everything about yourself that is different, alternative, intuitive, innovative and ingenious. Share your thoughts and dreams with others and the more you do so the more you will start to see that even those whom you may have thought were not on your team, or not your people, will seem more aligned and similar to you.
It is time to celebrate our differences, to talk about and share our ideas and dreams and to not be afraid to be different. It is being different that changes the world and as we know the world certainly needs to change right now!
You may also feel drawn to have more to do with the people and communities around you, or to start your own. This is one of the highest visions of Aquarian energy – to bring together all the different people and ideas of the world so as they can work as one. We are all one, we have always been all one, and we need to come back to the oneness, but not in a “one size fits all” way. We don’t need to feel intimidated, challenged or inferior in any way to someone that is different to who we are. Its time to embrace our differences, to celebrate our individuality and to project our solutions.
