On 14 February 2026 Saturn will join Neptune in their dance through Aries. This formidable partnership will last for 3 years, with the most powerful dates for this year being from 14 February until 22 February when they form a conjunction at 0 degrees.
When planets are at 0 degrees or 29 degrees of a sign of the zodiac they are at their most powerful. This conjunction marks the start of a whole new journey. Neptune has not been in Aries for 150 years and for Saturn it has been around 28 years. And Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, a pivotal point where we all start again in some way.
Out of the Age of Illusion
The themes of Neptune are around illusion, deception, spirituality, confusion, betrayal and higher awareness. This planet reminds us that there is always more out there; things we cannot see or touch but that still affect us and have an influence over how we are feeling and acting. So, the illusion we will be working with over the next 14 years of Neptune in Aries will be to do with power, independence, leadership and action. Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of war and the planet of unlimited energy and purpose. For the collective this will be about seeing through the larger global illusions regarding the systems we operate under, the powers that control us. Neptune has spent the last 15 years at home in Pisces where the illusional energy is particularly strong, as was the energy of our intuition. It was too easy for the powers that be to pull the wool over our eyes and to hide their destructive and highly questionable actions within the illusion of “we know what is best for you” and “one size fits all” and “what we are telling you is the truth”.
The most powerful purpose of Neptune in Aries is to reveal the truth and shatter the illusions we have been living under. Aries is a very black and white energy, it is spontaneous, headstrong and highly competitive and driven. Arian people tend to know what they want, and have little fear of going after their dreams and goals and are more than happy to put themselves and their personal agenda and needs first. The challenge for us all will be that we can’t ALL be in charge and we can’t ALL come first, and we can’t ALL win. We will have to work through the illusion of power and how each of us can use our own personal power for the highest good rather than using it just because we can. Or, because you may feel like your way is the only way, and you are right when everyone else is wrong.
As we work through the illusions and shadow of Aries during this 14 year transit we will all slowly but surely start to see how each and every one of us has a super-power, a gift or talent and something to share. Rather than needing to take charge or do our own thing, we will start to see the importance and power of working together – of bringing our individual gifts to the table as equals – and where we can each stand up in and be valued for our own uniqueness. Remember we have the powerful transit of Pluto through Aquarius happening at the same time as Neptune’s transit through Aries. So, we have the backup energy that will allow us to feel okay to be different, to have new ideas and concepts and Neptune in Aries can help us put these into action.
You Do You
And now to Saturn, our mighty teacher and taskmaster. He will turn Direct in Aries on 14 February triggering the 0 degree conjunction with Neptune and heralding 3 years of self-belief, self-empowerment and self-worth. Saturn is our greatest teacher; he encourages us to work on what we fear and to face our lessons so we can grow and evolve as we intended to. While he has been transiting Pisces over the last 3 years, we have all been asked “what do YOU want?” He has asked us to discipline ourselves to be more focussed, hard-working and to apply ourselves to our highest goals and biggest dreams. Saturn has been encouraging us to step into the Number One rule of spiritualty; that YOU are the most important person in the world – ALWAYS! You see unless you can put this much focus and purpose on yourself you are giving your energy away. When you don’t believe in you, how can you expect anyone else too? And, if you don’t give to yourself first and foremost you will never have enough to give to those around you.
When Saturn enters Aries, we will all gain the necessary clarity and insight we need to make those dreams, higher visions and goals a reality. We will see how we can create the necessary structure to make our dreams come true, we will know what the first step needs to be taken and we will feel a sense of self-awareness and empowerment that we have not felt for a very long time. Saturn in the first sign of the zodiac is also starting over, starting a whole new cycle for Saturn and of course he wants to start as he means to continue – with you feeling and knowing that your beliefs and positive sense of self are the greatest tools you have and how you can use these for the highest good of all concerned.
But of course, there is always the shadow side of what we are learning and why we are learning it. Saturn will bring in our personal fears or not being good enough, or not feeling strong enough to stand on our own two feet, or even not believing we can take the lead or be in charge, and we will all have to work through these fears to find our self-belief and our self-worth.
So, when these two powerhouses come together at 0 degrees of Aries the world will be rocked and our personal lives may also be rocked as whatever is not for you, that you have outgrown will become even more of a challenge to hold on too or believe in. So, PLEASE allow yourself to let go of what is slipping through your fingers or not aligning with you anymore. This was the work of 2025 but not everyone went with this. There was much resistance to this shift and change mainly because we didn’t know or feel confident with what is on the other side of it. It’s like we have all pulled “The Fool” card from the Tarot – the image of someone taking a step off a cliff with all he needs in the sack over his shoulder, his trusty dog by his side and a smile on his face. Stepping into the unknown, but doing so with the faith that change is what moves us forward and without taking a chance on this, we stay stuck in old ways that do not favour us or help us – forever teetering on the cliff but never going anywhere.
Observe And Don’t Absorb
My advice is always to OBSERVE AND DON’T ABSORB! Detach yourself from the outside world when it is not the world you want to be in. I am not saying live in oblivion with your head buried in the sand – we do need awareness but what we don’t need is to be driven by fear. Fear is the opposite of Love. So, choose Love always. If you see something you don’t like, send love to it not fear or anger or hate, as you are only adding to the energy of misery when you allow yourself to feel these ways.
Everything is changing and it needs to. So let go of any fears you have that the world around you, or your personal world, are changing in a way that doesn’t serve you. ALL the changes coming will serve those who want the world to be a kinder, better and more loving place. And for those who do not want a better world – you will have your destiny too.
Be aware, be vigilant and most importantly be YOU. Be the best version of you that you can be. Take those dreams and fantasies that mean so much to you and shower them in love, hope, faith and expectation, because that is how we change the world and that is how we make the most positive use of Neptune and Saturn in Aries!
