Today, 23 November 2019, the Sun moves out of the super-sensitive and emotional energy of Scorpio and into the adventurous and out-going energy of Sagittarius. Phew, Scorpio season with Mercury retrograding in Scorpio within that month has been a very intense time for all of us. But now as the Sun moves into Sagittarius we can all breathe a sigh of relief and start to make use of all those heavy yet extremely important life lessons we have been addressing all year. Every month when the Sun shifts signs we move into a new energy or theme for that month ahead, and we have now moved into the importance of dreaming big and developing yourself into the best possible version of yourself you can possibly be. And, every year when the Sun moves into your own sign of the zodiac you start a whole new journey along your life path, and this is known as your Solar Return. Every year of your life holds new experiences, challenges and events that are designed to shape you into who you truly are and teach you more about yourself and the life you have chosen to live. And the great news is that by using your own personal astrological details you can see and know in advance what may be coming up for you, how you will be feeling, as well as what challenges you may have to face and what rewards and opportunities are coming your way.
For those of you born under the sign of Sagittarius, this is your birthday month and the start of your next yearly dance around the Sun. So, start as you mean to finish. Start by looking forward with inspiration, a firm focus on the truth and being prepared to do whatever it takes to be the best you can possibly be at whatever it is you do in life.
As the Sun moves into inspirational Sagittarius he joins Venus already sitting there as well as Jupiter in his last few weeks in this expansive sign. Venus in Sagittarius has opened our eyes to not only how we can be the best version of ourselves, but also how we can better value and work with money and our finances for the future. As Venus represents love and beauty, this transit also enables us to look at ourselves with more love and to expand upon our ability to love others unconditionally and without a need for control and restriction. Venus brings the adventure and excitement back into our lives, and in particular into our love lives.
Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion, has been sitting in Sagittarian energy since November 2018 where he is completely at home. Therefore this last year has really been the year for all Sagittarians to grow within their worlds, to expand upon their gifts and talents and to develop who they truly are. Jupiter is the luckiest planet of the cosmos and so when he is in your sign of the zodiac you can usually guarantee that you will be dealt a winning hand for the period of his transit. However, Jupiter also has the important role of bringing to the surface all that needs to see the light of day so as it can be addressed and dealt with. So, Jupiter in Sagittarius has allowed many Sagittarians souls to develop their careers and livelihoods in a very positive way, however for those who were not happy in what they were doing they may have found that they had to deal with what they had outgrown, whether they liked it or not. And they had to do so, so as they could develop a new path and a more empowered and successful version of themselves. Jupiter will move out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn in early December, and then it will be the souls born under the sign of Capricorn that get to embrace growth and expansion for the next 13 months or so. This will be a much-needed energy for all you Capricorns out there who are also dealing with Saturn in your sign since December 2017 and until December 2020, which has felt like the Fun Police have come to town and sucked all the joy out of your life at times! Jupiter in Capricorn will give you the confidence to grow in those areas of your life where you have best dealt with your challenges and where you have created those necessary firm and stable foundations for your future.
So, wherever Sagittarian energy sits in your Chart is where the Sun will be shining in your life over the next around 28 days. For those born under the sign of Sagittarius, this is the start of a whole new one-year journey for you, and for the rest of us, we get to begin our quest for truth at the end of a very challenging year. Over this next month we start to really investigate and discover the true meaning of our lives on the earth plane. 2019 has not been an easy year, but what it has been is a year of intense and valuable learning for all of us. And it is now imperative that we all look back to what we have experienced during this time to see what we have LEARNED, so as we don’t find ourselves stuck in the drama and emotions of it all. Everything that has happened to you and around you has been designed to teach you something, and that something has been about you evolving and developing out of your 3D world and into the true world where we are all-powerful souls manifesting and creating the life of our dreams. You see you cannot create and manifest when you are stuck in the blame game or stuck in self-pity or self-loathing – such toxic ways of being just act as a solid brick wall between you and your dreams and abilities.
During Sagittarius month you get to see the story to all you have been through, so as you can see the truth – YOUR truth – the most important truth that there is. Once you can see, accept and understand all of this year and what it has taught you, you can then start 2020 with a clean slate and bring into your life the much-needed balance and understanding that allows you to then create from a concrete foundation that will not crumble under pressure.
Now is the time to dream big – look out at the big wide world around you and see what you can develop, manifest, put your special mark on and be the best you can possibly be at. Put your visions out there, put them in writing and most importantly put a worth on them and allow the Universe to then bring them your way. Never forget that we co-create with the Universe – you set the dream of what you wish to achieve, and the Universe works out HOW you are going to get there.
On 20 November two major planetary movements took place, ushering us into our “dream big” phase. The first was Mars moving into Scorpio energy. There are two signs of the zodiac that Mars usually has the most power and force in, one is when he is at home in Aries and the other is when he is in Scorpio. So, if you have been wondering where your get-up-and-go has disappeared too, or if you have been lacking passion in your life, it’s all set to come back now. With this energy you can and will take positive steps forward along your soul’s journey and if you can do this with full awareness of all that 2019 has taught you so far, those steps will be major ones.
Mercury also moved out of Retrograde on 20 November – yippee yeeha its been a challenging one!! So, after all that internal re-search, re-visiting and re-assessing that we have been doing regarding our feelings, need for power and awareness of truth, we get to put our awareness into action. Finally, things are going to really make sense to you, and all that has happened for you this year falls into alignment with where you are on your life path and you get the green light to start acting on this.
