Venus has been at home in Taurus since the 31st of March 2026 and while she has been sitting here, she has been encouraging us to look at our security needs, our values and our financial situations with the intention of improving all of these in some way.  There is a valuable lesson when Venus transits through her home sign of Taurus, and that is the importance of “what” we value.  Perhaps during this transit, you have realised that you are worth more and you have asked for a pay rise, or a promotion, or you have simply stepped up your game in the knowing that if you challenge yourself to expand and grow, you can naturally manifest and receive more.  Or, perhaps it has been a time where you realised how much you already have, and you really stepped up your gratitude and appreciation for all that you have and all that you are.  Either way, your values have changed or been updated in some way, and hopefully you have also realised that inner peace is your greatest asset and your biggest achievement in this lifetime, and made this your goal moving forward.

Venus in Gemini is a whole different experience.  Gemini energy is a lighter, more carefree and expressive energy that wants to do and experience life rather than plan and save for it.  Gemini rules communication and so when the planet of love, beauty and money enters this domain she lightens all of this up allowing us to communicate in a more fun, social and light-hearted manner.  Under the influence of Taurus, she upped her game and upped your game and now that she is in Gemini its time to play with the new you.

Although Venus rules love, when she is in Gemini it is not considered to a time to create valuable, long-lasting, committed or devoted relationships.  Rather you are looking for some fun!  If you meet anyone while Venus is in Gemini and feel romantically inclined towards them, just be aware that this relationship may not last the distance.  But if you are looking to have some flirty fun, to have a good time and to keep things light and on the surface, go for it!

And if you are already in a relationship, you can use this energy to bring more fun, adventure and stimulation into this.  This is not the time for the “deep and meaningfuls” you have been putting off or meaning to get round too – such conversations will not be well received under this influence and what you need to say or be heard will miss the mark – and that’s if you even get a chance to say it.

So, Venus in Gemini is a light-hearted and very social energy that encourages us all to have some fun, to not take life and love too seriously and to be open to new things and new adventures.

Venus rules beauty and as we are playing with Gemini energy this is an area of your life that will also come up for some fun, change and stimulation.  Venus in Gemini is a great time to try a new look, experiment with a new hairstyle or find a new style of clothing.  You are feeling outgoing and somewhat daring under this influence so it’s a great time to take a chance on an exciting new you.

Venus also rules money and when she is in Gemini, we can get a little fickle and loose with our finances.  Gemini kinda wants it all and wants it now – it has a need to “own” what it desires and doesn’t really like having to wait, or pay something off, or book it in advance.  So, be aware of this and question all your purchases and expenses during this time to avoid wasting money or spending money on things that you don’t really need.  The joy of new and exciting things can be such a drawcard for Gemini energy and I often feel that Gemini people are a bit like magpies; everything shiny and new needs to be explored immediately and as soon as something else shiny and new turns up, that too needs to be explored.

So, all in all Venus in Gemini is a time for fun, not taking things too seriously and experimenting and playing with new opportunities and possibilities.  Its time to get your curious hat on and see what else is out for you in the world and to not be afraid to try something new – even if its just for kicks!
