THE POWER OF SELF-BELIEF
Uranus moved into Gemini in July 2025 and spent just under 4 months in this sign (both Direct and Retrograde) before he retrograded all the way back into Taurus once again. He will stay in Taurus until the last week in April 2026.
Because Uranus is a slow moving planet (he takes 7 years to move through a sign of the zodiac) he only really dipped his toes into Gemini last year before retrograding back into Taurus. So, we all got a brief taste of Uranus in Gemini will feel like. Perhaps there were some ups and downs for you financially, or perhaps there were employment issues for you? So, take a moment to look back at this dip into Gemini between July and November 2025 and see what was going on for you, as you may find that once he fully settles into Gemini in a few months time, that similar experiences, opportunities and changes may also occur. Uranus settles fully into Gemini in late April and will remain there until May 2033. I will write more about Uranus in Gemini closer to the time of this transit coming into effect.
So, Uranus has already spent around 7 years in Taurus and this has meant a lot of change in our sense of security and safety, especially from a financial point of view. Taurus energy is all about what makes you feel safe and secure, and 9 times out of 10, it is our bank account, property, car or career that we see as our security in life. Uranus is the planet of change, independence and higher thinking. Therefore, many people during this transit had to deal with changes in how they created their security, how to maintain this and how to deal with often sudden and unexpected changes here. Many people lost their jobs as belts were tightened globally and those of you who could only see a bank balance in the black, or a mortgage-free home as their true sense of security, were challenged in their beliefs. In fact, one of the most powerful things about the transit of Uranus through Taurus was recognising the power of our belief systems.
What you think you create
We manifest everything in our lives by and from the way that we think. It’s that simple. How many times have you quickly thought, “I would like that …” only to find it appears in your life almost instantly? And how many times have your prayed, and begged and demanded things from the Universe, only to NOT receive them? When we spend time thinking about what we don’t want and overly focussing on what we lack or need, we are manifesting exactly that. But when it’s just that quick thought, “ooh that would be nice to have” all you have done is put positivity into it – no doubt, no wondering if you deserve it or not, no thinking “this is only ever a dream of mine” – just the purity of wanting something from a positive and confident perspective with no other mental or negative interference.
Uranus in Taurus is our opportunity to re-think our security in life. We all know that you can have all the money in the world and still live a very unhappy life. And, we all know you can have no money at all in this world and be in a state of happiness and bliss. So, therefore, we all know money is NOT the answer – yet still we frame it as such, still too often many of you go into a tailspin when money gets tight.
True security is inner peace
True security is inner peace and no amount of money can buy that. I feel that this is one of the most important teachings of Uranus in Taurus. This transit showed us how money and our assets can quite suddenly come and go and if we allow ourselves to be overly influenced and emotionally affected by such things, we will always feel insecure and unsafe. However, when we realise that money will more often than not ALWAYS come and go, and that if we just hold the faith and believe that we will always be looked after, then things change.
So, over these next 4 months or so challenge yourself to look at your sense of security differently. The next time a bill comes in and you don’t have the money to pay it, rather than freaking out, worrying yourself to death and throwing yourself into deep depression, just say to yourself “It’s going to be okay – I may not have the money to pay this bill today, but I will tomorrow or next week” and leave it at that. Before you know it that money will appear. The Universe will always look after you if you get out of your own way. And worry, fear, stress all serve as blockages to your ability to manifest and to “allow” what you need in. Look around you to the people you know who always seem to be okay financially – how happy are they? How much do they worry or stress about money? These people live with a belief that they will always be okay, and so they are.
Use this time to work on your belief systems and to do an overhaul of any that are not positive for you or helping you to evolve. If you think you are useless at what you do – that’s what you will attract.
If you think you can’t support yourself – that’s what you will manifest.
If you think you’re not worth a pay rise – you will never get it.
And, if you don’t put a value on yourself – how can you expect anyone else too?
Uranus in Taurus says believe in yourself to create a sustainable, reliable and abundant life where you feel safe and secure, no matter how much money you have in your bank account.
The Power of Mother Nature
Another powerful teaching tool of Uranus in Taurus is the importance of connecting with Mother Nature and grounding yourself. Nature is the only “real” thing in this world – it has its own energy, and even though much natural beauty and many natural resources have been destroyed and polluted by humanity in many ways, it is still our greatest resource.
Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to come back to yourself and to what is real. And the same goes for the animals around us and our pets. They don’t worry about money or security, they don’t allow not feeling good enough, or not being worthy to get in the way of their happiness and daily life. They choose otherwise. And Mother Nature is our friend, our provider and our benefactor that can bring SO much more peace and calm to us. When we spend time in nature, we are grounding ourselves and reconnecting with the real world – the world created for us with everything we need to survive and evolve.
Use these final months of Uranus in Taurus to get strong in your personal beliefs; to not allow the outside world to make you feel unsafe or insecure, and to redefine who you are not by how much you have, but by how much you are prepared to give back.
Make YOU your highest and most valuable commodity, because you are. You are a soul on a journey, a Spirit having a human experience and its all about learning and developing. Money is an energy created to keep us in competition, to keep us wanting and to keep us in our place, and this is the old way of the world and not the way forward in the Age of Aquarius.
When Uranus hits Gemini in April things will change and the focus for this change will be our thinking, our communication, our movement and our capacity for moving forward to follow our dreams and positive beliefs – but more on that in April.
Do not let fear stop you – step out of the fear of “what if it all goes wrong” and into the positivity of “what if it all goes right” instead. Change your negative beliefs into positive thoughts and action and allow these to become your way forward. You are stronger than you think – don’t be afraid to explore this and never be afraid of change.
