On 7 September 2025 we have a total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces which will be fully visible from New Zealand.
At the time of this Full Moon in Pisces we will also experience the dark night of the eclipse which will be potent and powerful in a very magical and special way.
Full Moons are when things come to fruition and are brought to the surface and Pisces Full Moons are considered to be particularly magical and special as the have a very powerful spiritual message that goes with them. When the Moon is in Pisces we are closer to the Spirit world and therefore the veil between the two worlds is thinner so we can communicate, interact and feel the energy of the cosmos more strongly. Therefore this is a perfect time to work with the spiritual energy available to us. We can feel things more intuitively and perhaps even hear or see Spirit around us. Under this influence we will all feel a lot more gentle and connected so pay attention to anything and everything that is presented to you at this time, as it could well be a signal or a sign for you to act upon.
It will be a very powerful time to connect with your Guides and spiritual helpers as well as with your highest ideals and desires for the future. There is always a kind of magic around at the time of any Full Moon but when its in Pisces that energy is even stronger and more available to us in every way.
Now Lunar Eclipses are all about endings. 2025 is the year of beginnings and endings so the Eclipses are happily adding to this energy. The best way to look at anything ending in our lives is to be aware that something new is about to begin. Don’t waste time trying to hold onto what is slipping through your fingers. If its slipping through your fingers it’s not for you any more and that’s okay, because something new and usually a whole lot better is on its way to replace it.
The beauty and purpose of a Lunar Eclipse is to catapult us forward in some way. The endings that a Lunar Eclipse governs are ones that are needed for our highest good but sometimes we may not be prepared for them or realise that it is time for something to end. They tend to influence areas of our lives where we need to change or to evolve in some way, but where we are often holding on or ignoring the signs.
Whatever comes up for change or to end at the time of this total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces will be exactly what is necessary for you to take the next step along your soul’s journey. It may not feel right at the time, or, perhaps it will feel like the freedom and liberation you have been waiting for? But either way it will be significant and important and you are best to go with it rather than trying to resist it in any way.
Because Lunar Eclipses represent endings in our lives, they are also a very powerful time to end something that you intentionally want to end. The support and energy of the Eclipse will make letting go a lot easier and will also ensure that whatever it is you wish ended in your life, will be done so once and for all.
Be VERY aware that decisions made at the time of a Lunar Eclipse tend to be carved in concrete and there is no going back from them. So be very careful what you are wishing for and focussing on at this time, as it is from our thoughts that we most naturally manifest. For example, perhaps you are unhappy in your relationship and have been unhappy for quite some time and because of this have tried to leave or end the relationship in some way, but have not succeeded. Under the influence of the Lunar Eclipse, it will feel a lot easier to say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done, and you won’t change your mind or be talked out of it. You will feel that final cut and it will feel liberating and freeing for you, and you will just know that you have taken the right step at this time.
