Blog Post 28 September 2020

Saturn, the great taskmaster, turns Direct in Capricorn on 29 September and with this massive shift in energy, we may well find ourselves and the world around us in more change and more chaos.  For the last nearly 3 years this mighty planet that is responsible for teaching all of us our greatest life lessons has been at home in Capricorn, and therefore amplified and ruling the heavens.  During this 3-year transit, the world has changed GREATLY.  We have been put through the proverbial “wringer” and we will never look at the world in the same way again.  We have been reminded that we often have no idea how strong we are until our strength is all we have left.   This is the work of Saturn, he is our great reminder that our lives, our happiness and our success is entirely up to us – only when each of us takes full responsibility for ourselves and the lives that we live, are we acknowledging our power and in control of our life paths.  I liken Saturn to that teacher you had at School, the one who perhaps gave you a hard time because she expected more of you.  That teacher who always made you work harder, and that teacher whom you have never forgotten because what they taught you, improved you and enabled you to understand the natural power you have within yourself.  (I might add here that you probably didn’t like that teacher very much at the time, and maybe you still don’t, but what they taught you, you have never forgotten because it was important and because it changed you and/or your life in some way).  Saturn teaches us to believe in ourselves and in what we feel and know to be true, and this is what humanity needs right now to bring light to this darkness.

Over the last approximately 3 years we have had the chance to grow out of, or in some cases be thrown out of, our comfort zones.  No matter how you see the world around you, you have to admit that this world we live in right now is in desperate need of change, real change, sustainable change and change that can take us forward to a loving compassionate world, not a world full of hate, division, judgement and inequality, which unfortunately is what we have been living in and been brainwashed by for too long.  So, Saturn’s journey through Capricorn has been testing us and testing our ability to stand up for ourselves and to take charge of our thoughts, words, actions and lives.  And, in the usual way of learning, the lessons have been tough, harsh and relentless.  Unfortunately, as humans, we only tend to learn the hard way.  We react the most and activate ourselves the most when we are in trouble, threatened or frightened – this is when we find our true power and our true self-belief.  And so, we all chose to go through this incredible journey, at this time, to learn a better way of being.  Challenges in our lives encourage us to question the narrative and to expand our consciousness out of being complacent obedient human beings, to being our true selves – spiritual beings of enormous intelligence and unlimited ability, having a human experience.  If we were not put through such challenges, we would choose to stay in our uncomfortable comfort zones, slowly but surely rotting and stagnating in our own fear.

Saturn has until December 17, 2020, to finish his work in Capricorn.  This means that we all have until this date to get real and to get our personal inner work done.  That personal inner work relates to where you do not take responsibility for your life or your actions, where you don’t have a concrete structure or belief that keeps you strong and focussed, and where you don’t apply yourself to be what you are capable of and the best you can be.  And if you don’t know where this fits in your life or how to apply this, just look to the areas of your life that you don’t want to deal with, those areas that have hurt you or where you feel you are stripped of your power and abilities.  These are illusions created by your fear and the conditioning you have received that allowed you to stay there.  We have to do the inner work to solve the outer chaos – its that simple.  But most of you run a mile from having to address those parts of yourselves that are damaged, living in fear or just denied by you.  You can also look to your astrology and where the Capricorn energy sits in your Natal Chart for insight into what you need to change and take responsibility for in your life. As Saturn and Mars do a challenging dance with one another over the next month or two, whether you like it or not, you will be confronted with everything you are hiding from or denying and as challenging as this may be, it is SO necessary if you are to receive the mighty rewards that Saturn will then bring your way.  And this goes for the collective energy of humanity and this planet as well because we are all One and what is unhealed within your inner world will activate what is unhealed on the planet.

You see Saturn may be the great taskmaster, but he is also the great rewarder too.  When you do the work you will get the reward, and that reward is as much about the way you will feel about yourself and your life, as it is about the external benefits that will come your way.  There are no magic wands, no overnight successes and nothing being handed to you on a silver platter where Saturn is concerned.  But that just makes his rewards even better!

It is your obligation as a beautiful spirit of unconditional love and promise to do the human inner work and not run away or hide from it, this is humanity’s obligation as a collective as well.  It may hurt, and it may well be hard, but I can promise you that on the other side of this will be your bliss and your happiness.  Blessings xox
