On 28 August 2026 we have the second Eclipse in this current Eclipse Season – a partial Lunar Eclipse at 4 degrees of Pisces. This is the final Eclipse on the Pisces/Virgo axis and therefore, even though it is a partial Lunar Eclipse, it will be extremely powerful.
A Lunar Eclipse can only occur on a Full Moon when the Sun and Moon are opposite to one another, and when the Nodes are also in play. Usually at this time its all about the Moon and its energy, but as the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon at the time of a Lunar Eclipse, suddenly something hidden or held back can be revealed. And as this is a North Node Lunar Eclipse, revelations and all that is not honest will be revealed both globally and personally.
Lunar Eclipses tend to indicate “endings” in our lives of some sort. As with a Solar Eclipse, it’s as if the Universe takes over at this time and propels you forward, or through something, or simply removes something from your life that was stopping you from moving forward.
Remember, decisions made at the time of an Eclipse tend to be carved in concrete so be very aware at this time of not only your thoughts, but your actions too.
Pisces = intuition, creativity, being present and higher awareness
As this Lunar Eclipse is falling in Pisces the theme will be our intuition, our illusions (internal and external), our creativity and our ability to be present. Pisces is a highly spiritual sign of the zodiac – it is the energy of intuition, creativity, revelation and higher awareness and tends to be a very easy-going energy. So, at the time of this Eclipse there is more emphasis on these parts of ourselves and what we can do with them.
As Pisces is a water sign it relates to the oceans, lakes, rivers, seas and also oil (the blood of the earth) and our own blood that flows through our veins. Water being featured can mean a lack of this and/or an abundance of this. And as the world is currently experiencing so many wildfires and soaring temperatures droughts are a certainty and with the land being so dry, flooding may occur as the soil cannot absorb the water. And as are also all aware, there are major “challenges” going on in relation to the supply and refining of oil around the world at this time.
We are going through an incredibly changeable time on the earth plane and this was always predicted, astrologically, for the 2020’s, with the middle of this period 2025 – 2027 being the most disruptive and chaotic. Chaos always precedes the calm and the solutions – it is a necessary step that is usually designed to wake people up. And this is where we are currently at. This current Eclipse Season alongside Barbault’s Basket that I wrote about a few weeks ago, are setting the scene for what is to come. This is the beginning of our new way forward; the start of our 5D ascension and the time of the Great Reset.
Align your intuition with your logic
Eclipse energy tends to affect us for around 6 months from the Eclipse time and so what we can all look forward to as a result of this Lunar Eclipse is an increase in our intuition. The polarity between Virgo and Pisces is encouraging us to align our intuition and gut instinct with our logic and learning. As we move out of the 3D ways of what you see is what you get, and there is nothing more to life than what you can touch and see in front of you kind of thinking, we learn to have more faith and understanding of our feelings and how they can be a much better navigation system than our logic. Things are changing around us daily, and if we buy into it all and take it all on board, we will drive ourselves into states of either rage, frustration, depression or complete apathy and none of these emotions are positive or particularly helpful.
What is essential right now and moving forward is that each and every one of you have a calm and peaceful place within you that you can retreat too when the going gets tough. No-one can take this away from you and no-one can disrupt your inner peace because it is yours and yours alone. So please take some time in your busy life to establish a space within yourself where there is always peace, happiness, joy and contentment. For some of you it may be a beautiful memory of a place, person or experience, and for others it may be a meditation, a walk in nature or a quiet cuppa in your favourite chair. It doesn’t matter what your peaceful place looks like as long as it is yours and it brings you peace.
At the time of this Lunar Eclipse there are several other powerful planetary movements and aspects being formed. The major one of these in my opinion is the YOD or Finger Of God being formed between Neptune, Pluto and the Sun. This combination of Aries, Aquarius and Virgo energy (Fire, Air and Earth) further emphasises the need for us all to step up into our authenticity and sovereignty; to use our innovative thinking to do so and to follow our hearts and our passion. It also further enhances our powerful shift at this time out of the “me” energy and into the “we” energy, or the energy of community.
Raising your vibration through detachment
When the Moon is in Pisces it always an opportunity for us all to raise our vibration in some way and that is usually through detaching from the emotional body, listening to our intuition and choosing not to react. The more we choose love over fear the more we ascend and the higher frequency we carry and emit. And the more we practise gratitude the more we are able to manifest and create the life we truly wish to be living.
Eclipses bring unexpected but extremely useful changes in our lives and they often present us with sudden and unexpected opportunities to let go and step forward in some way. The changes will be presented to you but as its Pisces energy in charge here, the outcome, destination and/or details may not be clear. So, it’s a question of faith, of trusting that the Universe does have your back and that any and all changes that are coming your way ARE for your highest good in every way. You are being asked on a personal level to let go and step out of any illusions you are living under. Illusions such as belief systems that keep you playing it small, or habits that you repeat that have no positive purpose in your life, or relationships that make you feel bad about yourself, and/or jobs and careers that you have outgrown or that simply feel heavy and lacking in personal fulfilment. Basically whatever no longer serves your soul has to go and this Eclipse may wall take care of this for you!
Share your innovations – they will be positively received
So, although Lunar Eclipses do tend to bring endings into our lives, this particular Lunar Eclipse is a North Node Eclipse meaning its working with the head of the Dragon – our potential, our destiny and how we can take what we have mastered before and make use of it now. The North Node is currently sitting in Aquarius and the South Node in Leo, and so this is about how we have all mastered leadership, creative expression and independence in other lifetimes. And now it is part of our destiny to use these abilities to be innovative, ingenious and open-minded in some way and not to be afraid to share this and explore this publicly in every way. Those thoughts and ideas you have carried around with you all your life and perhaps always been too scared to reveal or say out loud for fear of being judged or ridiculed are now going to be 100% acceptable, so don’t be afraid to voice them and act on them.
Wherever the Pisces energy sits in your Natal Chart is where you will feel this Eclipse the most strongly and where you can expect to let go, evolve, step up and change in some way. Allow yourself to join into the flow of whatever presents itself to you at this time in the knowledge that the Universe is bringing this to you for a very good reason, and even though it may feel like a curve ball or may be something you want to resist, it is for your highest good and you will be okay.
