On 11 October 2026 we have a New Moon in Libra. This New Moon showers us with powerful relationship and friendship energy that is further encouragement for us all to more deeply align and regularly connect with others.
New Moons are when we set our intentions for the month ahead – we choose what we want to manifest, work on, achieve or make real over the next month. New Moon energy helps us to keep moving forward and to regularly look to what we want for ourselves and our lives and to put energy in these directions. We all carry our dreams and goals in our heads and hearts, but unless we actually actively put them out there, they can struggle to manifest for us.
Write down your intentions
Therefore one of the most powerful things you can do at any New Moon is write down your intentions and even read them out loud to yourself and the Universe so they are no longer your deepest secret or desire that you keep to yourself, but rather something you are putting out there to achieve with the help of the Universe.
It is always important to remember that we co-create with the Universe. You decide your goal or what you wish to do or achieve, and the Universe sorts out HOW that is going to happen for you. The Universe has the big picture, it knows exactly what is meant for you and when, and so when we hand our dreams and aspirations over to the Universe, we open ourselves up to ALL the ways such things can be manifested rather than only seeing your way of getting there.
Libra represents relationships, communication, socialising, balance, harmony and being a part of something. With Chiron, Saturn and Neptune currently sitting in Aries, the opposite sign to Libra, there is a lot of energy pushing us towards our authenticity, our personal needs and rights and stepping up for ourselves. Libra reminds you that its not all about you! Under the influence of a Libran Moon it becomes important to include others, and to be a part of something rather than doing it alone or taking charge. We can’t always be the leader and we can’t always focus on our own needs. Whether we like it or not, we need others, we need our tribe and we need to work together to create a better world.
Create balance and harmony with others
Use this New Moon energy to breathe new energy into your current relationships as well as to create new ones. Under the influence of Libra we are all much more interested in creating balance and harmony with others, and what we have in common with others, rather than focussing on and fighting for our own needs and wants.
As the Moon represents our emotions when a New Moon is being birthed as well as when a Full Moon is present, our emotions are at an all time high and we are much more influenced by what our emotional world is telling us. Therefore, this is a great time to mend bridges and to find resolution with others as it will be a lot easier for you to see, hear and understand other people’s perspectives, and you may also find that you can gain a new way of looking at things simply by listening and being open to what others have to share with you. Libran energy helps us to find the similarities and common ground that we share with others and from there to build foundations based on trust and friendship that can help us to feel balanced within ourselves and a part of something real with others.
Love conquers all
When we work together and when we come together on-masse we are powerful beyond any other power on this planet. There is not only power in numbers but safety there too and we will see that when we all stand together against the common enemy, and when we all stand up for the highest good of all humanity and this planet.
