Mercury moves into Stationary motion on 16 April and will be back up to speed in Direct motion within around 5 days of this.  Mercury Retrograde in Pisces has not been easy – yes, we have had the usual technology hiccups, and communication breakdowns and travel challenges – but on top of this has been a kind of “brain fog” or inability to see the woods for the trees.  We could have found ourselves falling into the negative illusion that we are not living our lives as successfully as we would like too, or, we could have found ourselves thinking and believing we had missed the boat or were lost at sea. Our imaginations are given a free reign under the influence of Pisces and so we always have to be careful where our imaginations lead us….

Mercury in Pisces has 2 purposes; the first is to cloud our vision and thinking so as we find we need to rely more on what we feel and intuit rather than what we see and know.  And the second is to encourage us to fantasize. Now fantasizing and going off into what I call “la la land” is not usually something that is encouraged in “normal” circles.  To zone out, day-dream, get lost in our own heads and focus on our imagination is not considered to be a sensible or productive use of our minds. However, we all know and Albert Einstein famously said “imagination is more important than knowledge – knowledge is limited and imagination circles the world”.

So, we have just had 3 weeks of imagining, creative thinking, intuiting and fantasizing about ourselves, our lives and whatever else that has meaning and is important to us.  And now that we have explored this side of ourselves, its time to take what we discovered and share it in some way.  We should find that things that have confused us or been out of our area of understanding have become a lot clearer because we have had time to “feel” into them rather than just analysing or intellectualising them.  And through that feeling we sensed things, we understood things on a deeper level and we determined what made sense to us and what did not.

Only light can penetrate darkness – darkness can never penetrate light

Mercury Direct in Pisces gives us the ability to communicate and give action to our dreams and ideals.  We can now find it easier to explain what we feel and to share our dreams and aspirations.  And we may also have found during this intense Retrograde, the answers we have needed to move forward and make our dreams a reality.

Mercury’s Direct move in Pisces comes just the day before the annual Equinox where we look to balance ourselves and our lives between the dark and the light.  The Seasons change and so do we, and as we move into this energy with Mercury in Pisces, we get to keep the light shining on our dreams and what is important to us, and we don’t allow the darkness to overshadow us.  We have a higher knowing, a higher feeling of what is right or wrong for us and we are ready to take action on this.

And the Equinox is followed a day later by the Sun moving into Aries and kicking off a whole new astrological year as well as a whole new Aries cycle which was initiated earlier this year by Neptune and Saturn moving into Aries.

Logic + Intuition = Personal Empowerment

This is an extremely powerful and changeable time on the earth plane.  What has been hidden and disguised to date can no longer do so; what is dishonest and not aligned can no longer manifest.  The old world is crumbling and this is essential as we cannot and must not build once again on its broken foundations.

As Mercury, the planet of communication, moves into Direct motion in Pisces we understand the importance and relevance of balancing out our logic with our intuition to create personal empowerment.  We can move forward aligned in a way that allows what we feel on a deep inner level to be manifested outside of us.  We have a deeper knowing of what is right for us and what is not, and we are not prepared to sacrifice ourselves for anything less.  Blessings xox
