Mars is the planet of drive, determination, motivation and passion.  He is the mover and shaker of the zodiac that gets things going and brings action and intention to all that we do.  In many ways he can represent the male energy in our Charts and where we can be the most proactive in the use of our Divine Masculine.

Gemini is the energy of the mischief maker, the communicator, the maverick, the “busy bee” and too often is known as the “jack of all trades and the master of none”.

So, when these two energies come together, we are in for an action packed time full of variety stimulation and probably lots of half-finished projects and activities. 

Mars in Gemini – next level busyness!

Mars in Gemini takes being busy to the next level giving you what feels like unlimited energy to take on everything that is offered to you and to dabble in anything that comes your way.  If you are the type of person who thrives on variety and juggling lots of balls at the same time, you will love this transit – but may well arrive at the other end of it completely exhausted and wiped out.

The plant Uranus has also recently moved into Gemini and will be there for the next 7 years and that means a busy time full of unexpected shifts and changes as well as a strong feelings of wanting to go it alone and do your own thing.  So that is a big amount of pressure and expectation already on us all to embrace ALL that comes our way so as FOMO doesn’t set in at the very least!

BUT the problem is, you can’t do it all – no-one can!

Mars in Gemini will activate the Uranus in Gemini energy in a way that could be anything from disruptive to exciting depending on how you view and roll with change and curve balls.  Uranus in Gemini will bring the changes and Mars in Gemini will give you the motivation and drive to put it all into action.  But once again, YOU CAN’T DO IT ALL!

Practising discernment and taking a step back to observe is the best advice I can give you right now.  As every new opportunity or experience comes your way allow yourself time to analyse it and think into it.

So, you can use this energy very positively to move forward on dreams, projects and goals you already have in place.  Mars in Gemini will help you to bring in different angles and perspectives so you can feel that you are covering more ground.  And it can also encourage you to brainstorm with others and share your ideas and thoughts so they can evolve and grow into something bigger and better, and more aligned with you at this stage of your life path.

And you can also use this energy to explore and try out new things but just don’t get too caught up in all that is shiny and new over and above what is reliable and true. 

Practise discernment, and it will be discernment on turbo charge – a bit like being thrown into the deep end of the swimming pool – Baptism by fire! And sometimes that can be just the environment we need to learn something new in.
