Jupiter moves out of his home sign of Sagittarius today and into the energy of Capricorn, where there is already quite a gathering of planets taking place.
While Jupiter has been happily at home in Sagittarius he has had the opportunity to rejuvenate and recharge his energy, and now that he has done so he is ready for action and so must you be. Jupiter only changes signs around every 13 months or so, and so as he is a major player in the cosmos when he does make a shift it affects us all on a grand scale. The planet Jupiter represents expansion, growth and wisdom derived from our natural state, our natural talents and our natural abilities and he expands upon everything he touches. He is considered above all else a very lucky and inspirational planet, and of course, if he is sitting in your sign of the zodiac that luck will come your way. And to be honest for those Capricorn souls out there struggling with Saturn and Pluto hanging around here and bringing the Fun Police to town over the last couple of years, this will be a welcome breath of fresh air.
Jupiter will support all that he uncovers and brings to the surface during his transit through Capricorn. During his transit through Sagittarius, we have learned about where and what we need to let go of, and for many this has been the 3D importance of wealth, being right, being successful in the eyes of others, and the realisation of what actually truly makes us happy in life. We have had the opportunity to question ourselves, our motives, our intentions and our direction in life, and from the results of this, we have been given the opportunity to let go and create a new and better version of ourselves. We have also learned the power of mastership and of challenging ourselves to step out of victim mode and into self-empowerment.
Now that he moves into Capricorn he will give us the opportunity to take all of what we have learned and discarded and turn it into our purpose and our personal power tool. Jupiter is not really very comfortable in Capricorn, as this energy can be way too rule-bound and restrictive for him, but it is his job to expand upon all that he touches, and so all that we have created in our lives that is solid, reliable, workable and that matches our vibration to date, will be what we can now build upon. And the beauty of this is that what we are building upon now is finally solid, real and sustainable simply because it has been created from our intelligence and our wisdom and not from our ego’s and earth-bound needs. We now all get to create and develop for our highest good and the highest good of the earth plane as well. Although Jupiter is a highly uplifting planet, he still has his job to do and that job is to reveal to us where our gifts lie, because, more often than not, our greatest gifts lie directly beneath our greatest challenges.
2019 has been the year to face your challenges and to get rid of the negative in your life, so with a clean slate, you can face and embrace the learning of 2020 – the year of balance on all levels. So, all the expansion and newfound awareness that 2019 has brought to us, can now be used to align ourselves with our true life purpose and to take full 100% responsibility for our own happiness and journeys on the earth plane. Its time for you to be who you truly are, and to do so with the confidence and surety that it is your time and down to you and you alone to make it work. No more excuses, no more hiding who you truly are and most certainly no more blaming others for what you alone are responsible for. Time to walk the walk and talk the talk people, and to do so for yourself and your own peace and joy, and not to impress or change others. For as long as the big forces in the cosmos are playing in Capricorn things are serious and we need to get real, but now that Jupiter has entered the party we get some much-needed balance and equality here. In fact, the energy of Jupiter will be pushing us globally over these next 13 months to establish that equality in our own lives and on this planet and this can often only be done through the disintegration of the old to bring in the new.
The last time Jupiter was in Capricorn was 2008, so it is often helpful to think back to what you were working on and faced with during that year so as you can see what the theme may be for you this time around. Wherever Capricorn energy sits in your Natal Chart is where you will be feeling the opportunity to step up and do your bit in every way, and if you focussed over this last year or so on what you do best, and how you can improve yourself and your journey, then rewards will be waiting for you as this year progresses. Jupiter in Capricorn will teach us the importance of being the best we can be, and of focussing on and accepting ourselves as the only ones who can BE the difference the world needs to heal.
