We now step out of the busyness and action-packed energy of Aries and into the more solid, grounded and methodical energy of Taurus. In Aries Season we focussed a lot on ourselves, our personal needs and desires and our individuality. Aries Season 2026 was a solid reminder for all of us in this Year of Sovereignty, of the importance of putting yourself first, and standing up and speaking up for what you believe in.
Now as we step into Taurus Season the energy shifts somewhat towards creating the groundwork, the foundations and the security we need to move forward and pursue our dreams. Taurus isn’t an energy that takes chances or even challenges itself too much to move out of its comfort zone. It doesn’t operate like Aries does and run to take action on whatever comes its way. Rather, Taurus energy, takes its time – it does the “due diligence”, it paces itself and it is more than happy to work long and hard on its goals.
So, we have used the energy of Aries to go after our dreams, start something new, initiate a new way forward or simply step into more independence and self-assurance. Now that we have established that, and have a goal or something to work towards the energy of Taurus will help you to build the necessary foundations, to do the work that is needed and to slowly but surely work towards making your dreams come true.
April so far has been INTENSE to say the least. Mainly because we have had, over the course of the month, up to 10 planets sitting in Aries energy! That is phenomenal – when we have 3 planets in the same sign of the zodiac, we call that a “stellium” and it is super-powerful. So, you can imagine how powerful the energy can be when we more than triple it! We started off the month of April with 4 major planets sitting in Aries and by the time we reached the 17th of April, we had 7 major planets sitting in Aries, and 3 other smaller planets there as well! This incredible influx of Arian energy has been all about reminding you of your sovereignty and the power you possess to think for yourself and step up into what is best for you. Aries being the first sign of the zodiac carries the “I am” energy, which means it naturally sees itself as the main player and will do whatever is necessary to look after itself, its needs and its direction in life. For many people the Sun moving into Aries on 20 March 2026 finally kick-started their year, and for others it was a timely reminder to step up and remember your goals and your dreams moving forward.
Power to the People
As I have mentioned before we are in the Age of Aquarius where finding new solutions to old problems is the only way forward. The abundance of Arian energy coinciding with this is giving us more confidence in what we think and do, and more empowerment to take action where action needs to be taken. And, on top of this many of the other planets are creating aspects and transiting signs of the zodiac where they have not been since past major world events like the American War of Independence, the French Revolution and the end of World War 2. The Empire is collapsing and the world as we know it is changing, and although its pretty crazy out there, the changes that we are experiencing are and will continue to be for our highest good. What was very relevant in all those historical events was that at each of these times, there was an awakening and a coming together towards the true enemy and the power went back to the people.
We also need to be aware at this time that ALL the planets are currently in Direct motion and will continue to be until Pluto moves Retrograde in Aquarius on 7 May 2026. This means that all of the planets are currently turned on and turned up – they are each standing in their power and working to encourage us to move forward along our soul journeys. This is a time for taking action and using these energies to support ourselves, our goals and our learning. A time to not be afraid to be who you truly are and exercise your independence.
On the 17th of April we had a New Moon in Aries. The Moon joined the Sun, Chiron, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury and Mars, as well as 3 more outer planets, and this created this very powerful stellium. Since this date we have seen a lot of action and aggression playing out globally and we have also seen some powerful weather activity too. Change is all around us and upon us and we are being moved forward whether we like it or not.
Pick your battles!
On 18 April the Aries activity amplified even further when Mars, the planet of action, motivation, passion and war formed a conjunction with Saturn, the planet of karma, restriction, learning and discipline. Now, when Mars is in Aries it is the most powerful “me” energy you get. It is 100% driven to achieve its own desires and needs and will not stop until it achieves its goals. When Saturn is in Aries, he takes all that need for action and winning, and restricts it limiting the action that can be taken and also making sure that there will be consequences for all actions taken under this influence. Right now, what you do and say and put your energy needs thought and consideration BEFORE you act on it. Pick your battles, be aware of what is truly important and ask yourself if this is what you really need? This conjunction will last until around 26 April, intensifying decisions made, motivations and actions taken during this time.
From 25 April until 19 May 2026 the planet of love, beauty and money, Venus, will be transiting the sign of Gemini. She has been at home in Taurus for the last 5 weeks or so, where she was very much at home and where she encouraged us to put a value on ourselves and to create true security in our lives that can bring us that much sought after peace and clarity.
When Venus is in Gemini it’s a whole different picture! Venus in Gemini wants to have fun, to socialise, to experiment and to be free. This transit allows us to see the similarities between ourselves and others and to find that middle ground where things are not intense or too deep, but rather allow us to interact and enjoy one another without the pressure of responsibility.
Just a day later on 26 April 2026 Uranus will make his monumental shift to move finally out of Taurus and into Gemini for the next 7 years. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was between 1942 and 1949 – the end of the WWII and a few years after that. What we saw back then were massive developments in communication, innovation and technology. Much was created to take us forward and a lot of global growth happened in a very short space of time.
Uranus is the planet of change and independence, and Gemini is the busiest sign of the zodiac. So, when these two come together we really do have to expect the unexpected and a lot of progress in every way! The next 7 years of this transit will take us all on a journey of learning and evolvement where we will be presented with many opportunities for new ways forward and where we can all become a lot more multi-functional and diverse. We are looking at whole new way to live our lives and exist on the earth plane and this coupled the powerful transformational energy of Pluto in Aquarius really does bring a whole new level of innovation, ingeniousness and forward thinking to the earth plane.
Time to have some fun!
From 18 May until 1 June Mercury the planet of communication and mischief also enters Gemini and returns home. When a planet comes home to its ruling sign of the zodiac it has a lot more power and predictability and so what we can expect with this transit is an increase in communication and the ability to articulate yourself concisely, cleverly and often in a very entertaining and social manner! Mercury in Gemini is a fun time – a time when we feel more interested in exploring, learning new things and having new experiences than we do in toeing the line and sticking to the rules.
Mercury in Gemini wants to have fun – it wants to share banter and lively conversations, try new things, go on an adventure and it wants to share all of this with others making this a very social time for many. Remember Mercury will join Venus already sitting in Gemini and he will form an immediate and intense conjunction with Uranus from 18 May until 20 May 2026. This conjunction will bring more mischief, chaos and unexpected changes to our personal lives as well as to the collective and global situation.
On 2 May 2026 we have a Full Moon in Scorpio. Scorpio Full Moons are always the most intense as Scorpio is the most emotionally sensitive sign of the zodiac and the Moon is all about our emotions. At the time of this Full Moon everyone sensitivities will be heightened in some way and so it is vital that we all STOP AND PROCESS what is being said or done BEFORE we react to it. If we don’t we run the risk of saying things that cannot be taken back, insulting and upsetting ourselves and others, and of falling into victim mentality. Remember you can’t play the victim and stand in your power at the same time – so choose well!
And a reminder that Full Moons are the best time to cleanse and activate your crystals. Crystals love nothing more than a Full Moon to illuminate them and increase their energies. The best way to cleanse and activate your crystals is to put them out in the moonlight (can be inside on the windowsill, does not need to be outside if that isn’t possible) the day BEFORE the Full Moon, the day OF the Full Moon and the day AFTER the Full Moon. This way they receive the Divine Masculine energy, the Divine Feminine energy AND the beautiful lunar vibes that cleanse and activate them.
Have No Fear!
We are well and truly in the thick of collapse and change right now and I believe things will settle somewhat as the year goes on. The current energies are designed and destined to change our lives considerably and as with any major change in life it is usually preceded by chaos, instability and fear and this is our challenge. Do not buy into fear! I know it’s hard and scary out there right now but unfortunately it is a necessary shift. As I have said many many times before we cannot fix what is already broken and past its “use by” date – we cannot keep repairing systems and ways of being that do not serve the greater good of all concerned, we have to completely change the ways of the earth plane so we can create and live in a better, healthier, happier and more peaceful way. And this is coming! So, hold the faith, and find that space within you where there is always some peace; a happy memory, a meditation, a physical exercise, a breath – whatever works for you – practise this so that you can instantly return to that space whenever it gets too much in the outside world. Protect yourself, love yourself and believe in yourself – you chose to be born to play a role in the Great Reset and your time is here.
