23 October – 22 November 2025
We now step out of the light, social and relationship focus of Libra Season and into the more intense and in-depth energy of Scorpio Season.
Scorpio Season is back to work season. Under this influence it is time to get things done and to take action on what you tend to sweep under the carpet or deny about yourself. The energy of Scorpio goes deep which can be quite a shift after the easy-going and people pleasing energy of Libra. Where Libran energy likes to keep everything on the surface and “nice”, Scorpio energy has no time for such shallow behaviour.
During Scorpio Season we find we have the energy and motivation to go deeper than surface level and to really explore, investigate and feel the depths of ourselves. It is therefore a time when we tend to deal with the more serious things going on in our lives – those things that need deep thought, or to be felt into to really understand not only what is going on, but how we can heal it.
Therefore, during this time, it is very easy to fall into victim mentality and to feel hard done by in some way. You see Scorpio energy needs to “feel” things to really understand them and to find the right answers. We can find that we are overly sensitive to others and to what is going on around us, and we can react very quickly and defensively to this. That “sting” that Scorpios are so renowned for is their reflex action – you hurt me I will hurt you right back. So, be very aware of this heightened sensitivity that you are likely to be feeling at this time as it is this reactive energy that you are supposed to be mastering. Take your time with every interaction that you have; allow yourself to observe yourself and others and take a step back, rather than reacting to every little thing that comes your way and you will find yourself able to rise above pettiness and perceived hurts, so you can stand in your power.
The struggle between playing the victim and standing in your power comes to a head in Scorpio Season so as you can see where you are wasting your time and energy and where you can better apply this. You cannot stand in your power and play the victim at the same time – so what do you choose?
Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, who is also known as Hades the Ruler of the Underworld. Pluto moved into Direct motion on 15 October meaning he is now in his full power. The power of Pluto stationing Direct in Scorpio Season intensifies the energy of our emotions – both good and bad – and we can use this awareness to see what part of our shadow are we operating from and is this healthy?
Scorpio Season can be a great time to get things done, but only if you step into your power rather than feel sorry for yourself. Under this influence you have a deeper understanding of all that there is and the tenacity and ability to dive deeply into things to find out what is really going on there. So, watch out for rabbit holes!! You can use this energy to really apply yourself to what you want to change in your life and particularly anything to do with the way that you behave or react emotionally.
The planet of love, beauty and money is at home in Libra from 14 October until 6 November 2025. When a planet is in its home sign it is more powerful than ever and so during this time, we tend to feel more outgoing, congenial and more interested in what we like in others rather than what we don’t like. Venus doesn’t doubt herself and what she is capable of when she is in Libra and this makes this transit a powerful time for inner alignment and being the face and the voice of what you believe in and who you truly are. With all the intensity of Scorpio Season, Venus in Libra is a breath of fresh air that allows us to effortlessly communicate and work with others and helps us to see the easier less combative road ahead no matter what is going on in our lives.
And then from 7 November until 30 November 2025 Venus joins the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio. When Venus is in Scorpio it is what I call the “little princess” placement. We can find ourselves being overly sensitive and even creating our own stories or narratives that favour us as the victims at all times. It can actually be very difficult to accept any type of criticism or even well-meant advice when Venus is in Scorpio as we can so readily and easily feel that we are being hard done by in some way.
On 23 October 2025 Neptune retrogrades all the way back into Pisces, where he has spent (up until recently) the last 15 years. While he was in Pisces we were very much in the age of illusion – not seeing the reality of the world around us and full of fantasies, imagination and ideas that entertained us but possibly went nowhere. When he moved into Aries earlier this year there was a significant shift in the collective consciousness and in our own personal consciousness. We started to feel more activated and more aware of our own needs and own critical thinking. Neptune in Aries gave us the direction and motivation we needed to make our dreams a reality and now we get to dip back into that Piscean energy to make sure there is nothing we have left behind.
Saturn our teacher and taskmaster is also now back retrograding through Pisces after his big move into Aries earlier this year too. He is on a mission to give structure, foundations and discipline to our highest dreams, ideals and fantasies so as we can align our inside world with our outside world and so as we can make our dreams come true.
Mercury moves out of the intensity of Scorpio and into the freedom loving energy of Sagittarius from 30 October until 9 November and we will all feel the need to share and broadcast what we have discovered about ourselves and the world around us during his journey through the depths of Scorpio. We get to see how facing our shadow and stepping into our darkness allows us to transcend what holds us back. And then on 10 November goes Retrograde briefly in Sagittarius but then back into Scorpio. This Retrograde could be a particularly demanding but very useful one as it allows us to have another look at what we are hiding from ourselves or ignoring in our lives, and to make a plan to overcome this. And when Mercury enters Scorpio, he also activates a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn plus Neptune both in Pisces. Grand Water Trines allow three planets of the same element (and in this case water) to work together harmoniously. Grand Water Trines stimulate our intuition and our creativity and allow things to naturally flow behind the scenes in a very supportive manner.
On 5 November Mars enters Sagittarius and will join Mercury here. Mars in Scorpio for the last 5+ weeks has been intense as it encourages our determination and need to be right and to achieve. But Mars’s transit through Scorpio has also made us very aware of our limitations and our ability to think and act for ourselves, by ourselves. So, now that Mars has had a taste of power, he is more than ready to go on an empowered truth-seeking mission in Sagittarius. Mars in Sagittarius gives us lots of energy for leadership, competition and putting ourselves first, but we all need to remember that even though our ideas may be great, we cannot and should not ever try to control another person to do what we want them to do.
From 12 November 2025 until 11 March 2026 Jupiter will move into Retrograde motion in Cancer. Jupiter is all about growth and expansion and when he sits in Cancer, he is working on growing and expanding our intuition, our family ties, our compassion and our creativity. During his Retrograde journey Jupiter will encourage us to investigate and focus more on our inner worlds where our intuition, creativity and compassion lie. Jupiter has the ability to expand on what comes very naturally to us, but because it comes so naturally to us, we may not even recognise it for what it is. While Jupiter is Retrograde in Cancer, we can explore those parts of us that we enjoy and that come easily to us to see how we can share these and develop these in our outer worlds.
Uranus the mighty planet of independence and change will move Retrograde in Gemini from 9 November 2025 until 4 February 2026. As he has only just moved into Gemini, he will quite quickly retrograde all the way back into Taurus where he has spent the last 7 years. This Retrograde turn in Gemini at first will bring a bit of relief from all the busyness we have been experiencing of late. Finally, it will feel like we have time to think and to discern what is right for us and what is not. This will be a wonderful time to look from an observer’s position at what we have been working on and involving ourselves in to see if it is really the right fit for us moving forward. I would really encourage everyone to make a list of what they are working on and wanting to manifest to see if it is still in alignment with where you are heading and what you are putting out there.
And once he retrogrades back into Taurus we will once again be looking at our sense of security and wellbeing. The Taurus energy will really help with the necessary discernment – we can ground ourselves to see where we are solid and dependable, and we can also see what we need to accept and work with in our lives to be the best version of ourselves that we can be
On 6 November we have a Full Moon in Taurus. Taurus Full Moons can be a very sensitive time where you need to take time to process whether something is yours or not. Too often we allow the negativity and pain of others to be projected onto us, and we can then end up feeling that it is ours or something that we need to do something about, and then we tend to hold a lot of resentment due to feeling this way.
One of the most powerful things you can do at the time of this Full Moon is to forgive. Just allow yourself to let go of what others have done, or how things have played out. Take a step back, get out of your head, and try to see things from a wider perspective. It’s not all about you, everyone is doing their best to get on with their lives and more often than not, the actions of another soul are all about what’s going on for them and how they are feeling, and not about you and what you might be going through. Full Moons bring things to fruition so use this Full Moon to allow yourself to let go of all that you have been holding on too that brings you pain, unhappiness or negativity. Focus on you, give yourself the love and forgiveness you need too and when those hurts arise, just say to yourself “I love myself and I am better than this”.
And remember Full Moons are the perfect time to cleanse your crystals. The best way to do this is to put them outside or on a window sill where they can capture the Full Moon illumination, and to put them out the day/night before the Full Moon (5 November) and then leave them out for the day/night following the Full Moon as well. This way your crystals receive the feminine energy, the Full Moon energy and the masculine energy which will not only revitalise them, but balance their energies as well. And do also be aware if you are putting your crystals outside that some crystals are soluble in water, particularly Selenite. Therefore, a heavy dew or downpour could potentially damage them in some way. So, keep these more sensitive crystals on the window sill instead – they will still benefit from the Full Moon energies.
Wishing you a very happy and forgiving Full Moon!
