On 21 May 2025 the Sun moves out of steady hard-working Taurus and into busy and curious Gemini. While he was in Taurus the Sun was encouraging us to create some structures and foundations in our lives, and now that he is in Gemini we get to take these a bit further, give them a bit more imagination, put them into action, or just communicate about them to see what else can come of them.
Gemini Season is usually a very social time of the year. The Air Signs, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, are usually fairly social signs of the zodiac who enjoy being around others and the experiences and energies this creates. We can use the investigation and formulations we explored while we were in Taurus Season to now act upon or expand upon in some way. Perhaps you had an idea for a new business over the last month or so, and you put it down on paper and looked at the pros and cons of it, and as it was Taurus Season, probably looked at the money side of it too? Now you can take that idea or concept and put it out there by discussing it with others to get their insight and input, or giving it a trial run to see if you have all you need to keep going. Under the influence of Gemini, we like to take action – however the challenge of Gemini is often in finishing that action….
The social energy of Gemini allows us to be more communicative during this time. We can ask more questions, read more books, listen to more podcasts – we are always and often under the influence of Gemini, looking for “more”. Gemini energy is also good for travel and so this could be a great time to book a holiday for the future, or, to take a holiday right now – maybe even on the spur of the moment if that’s where the Gemini energy wants to take you.
What can be a challenge under this influence is an almost insatiable curiosity resulting in lots of new things started and gotten off the ground, but no real energy or inclination to take them any further or to get them finished. For instance, if you have been thinking that you need to paint your house and you have been thinking that this is something you could do yourself or at the very least do some of it yourself, what you might find is that you rip into this with a hiss and a roar, but within a week or so you have lost interest, you are bored and you find yourself re-sowing your lawn instead! This is typical Gemini behaviour whereby you have all the enthusiasm and all the energy to start something new, but if that something is a long-winded task that lacks diversity or challenge, the chances are you will NOT get it finished. So, during Gemini Season take on the small projects – those jobs that only take a short amount of your time and energy to complete – this way you will get them done and you won’t end up heading into Cancer Season with a backlog of jobs hanging over you and little to no enthusiasm to get them done.
2025 has been a super-charged year so far and it’s not about to slow down soon! Since the beginning of this year Pluto has moved into Aquarius after 17 years in Capricorn. Neptune has moved into Aries after 15 years in Pisces and now Saturn will move out of Pisces and into Aries in the next few days after 3 years in Pisces. And, in June Jupiter will change signs into Cancer and the following month, Uranus will move out of Taurus and into Gemini. So, we are talking ALL of the outer planets except Chiron who changes signs next year, changing signs within the first 7 months of 2025!! If this is not the great re-set, I don’t know what is!!??
So, Gemini Season will keep us all busy and probably juggling more balls than we need too. Remember for most of Gemini Season Jupiter will also be in Gemini ramping up that need to be busy, productive and constructive at all times. So, just be aware of what you are taking on and whether you have the energy and whatever else might be needed to see it through. When Jupiter moves into Cancer on 10 June 2025 our priorities will change and we will get a chance to slow down a little.
What will also be interesting during Gemini Season is the powerful move of Saturn out of Pisces where he has been sitting for the last 3 years and into Aries for the first time in over 30 years. Saturn into Aries is our “Spiritual Warrior” energy he brings the structure, discipline and hard work we need to achieve our goals and to make the best use of his 3-year transit through Pisces. Whilst he was in Pisces, and particularly so when Neptune was there with him, we were all learning a lot about our spiritual abilities, knowledge, calling or practises but we were not doing a lot with it. We were very much stuck in our spiritual comfort zones, and that will never do when it comes to the taskmaster Saturn. Saturn in Aries wants us to have direction, purpose and intent, but with all the Gemini energy flying around it could be difficult to know exactly WHERE to put your focus. Don’t let this stop you from doing or trying something as with the power of Gemini you can feel so much more adventurous and outgoing than you usually might, and Saturn in Aries will give you the courage to step out and step up.

Saturn into Aries is one of the major shifts of 2025 and I believe will help us all to feel more self-belief and self-empowerment as we remember who we truly are and what we are here for.
On 28 May 2025 we have a New Moon in Gemini. New Moons are when we set our intentions for the month ahead and we are looking to harvest or embrace the results of this at the following Full Moon. With a Full Moon in Gemini, it is a marvellous time to be out socialising and making your intentions for the month ahead ones that involve other people and you getting involved in what you wish to manifest. Set your intention to embrace new opportunities with discernment – ask for a knowing that this is the right opportunity for you and don’t feel like you have to act on or get involved in everything that comes your way. Know what is best for YOU and what your capabilities are and then use your energy to focus on this. And also ask for who you need in your life at this time to help you to turn your intentions into your reality. Remember, you chose your life before you were born, and therefore whoever is around you at this time you chose to have there for a reason.
One of the beautiful things about Gemini Season is that it gives us the opportunity to explore new things. We can meet new people, start new relationships, move to a new home, take on a new job – opportunities often abound when we are in Gemini Season but its always important to be aware of what is for you, and what is just a passing thing. At this time, it is very important to be aware of your thoughts and dreams because with the powerful planets now sitting in Aries our thoughts and ideas are very much what we will manifest from. And this is where the equal importance of being aligned will also come in. Gemini energy is the energy of the maverick and the trickster where making stories more elaborate and entertaining is par for the course BUT does this make you genuine? Is this your truth? And, are you projecting out of you a different person to the one inside of you? The truth and the true you really do matter and there is no need for you to feel like you need to be anyone but you. There is no need to make up stories or alter the facts to be popular or accepted – just be YOU. ALIGNMENT is super-important at this time, so do your best to be the true you in every way.
