There are many planets in our Solar System, and they all have a role to play in the development of humanity as a collective as well as our own personal development on the earth plane. Some of the planets move very slowly through each sign of the zodiac and some move very quickly. The quicker moving planets are the inner planets such as Mercury, Mars, Venus, The Sun and the Moon and then we have the slightly slower movement of Saturn, Uranus and Chiron. But it is the very slow-moving planets, which are known as “generational planets” that have the biggest and most important effect on humanity and on each of us as individuals, and these are Pluto and Neptune.
It takes the planet Pluto 17 – 18 years to move through one sign of the zodiac, therefore anyone born during that particular transit shares similar traits, learning, abilities and perspectives as everyone else born during that same timeframe. Therefore, it creates a generation of souls who are here to learn very similar lessons so as they can be responsible for major changes in the collective thinking and behaviour of humanity. Because of the length of time Pluto will spend in each sign of the zodiac his lessons are long and will be presented to us in many different ways, by many different people and through different experiences throughout this transit. So, not only is there a generation of people being born with similar learning, but at the same time those who are already alive and experiencing this transit as adults or as children, are also learning about the effect of that particular transit and how it can change them as well as change the world around them. And it is the slower generational planets that create the most major changes to the collective and to humanity in general and this, in turn, helps us to evolve, to move forward and to develop ourselves for the highest good of all concerned.
So, as we know Pluto has been in the astrological sign of Capricorn since 2008 and he will remain here until 2025. Pluto is the planet of transformation, and his teaching at this time is about every one of us finding our individual power through aligning ourselves with structures, beliefs, traditions and habits that allow us to move forward and let go of what has gone before. For so long as we cling to the old ways of seeing things, doing things and experiencing things we are not evolving, and these old Capricornian ways are the focus on capitalism, patriarchy, divisiveness that are now unsustainable and outdated on the earth plane. It is SO easy to find your comfort zone and then to stay there no matter how uncomfortable or dysfunctional this may become, simply because it is what you know best. But the longer you stay in that energy the more likely you are to stagnate. It is vital that we allow ourselves to keep growing, learning and evolving as that is what we come to the earth plane to do; to experience life in a way that allows us to evolve along our soul journey. Pluto takes no prisoners and so his force in your life will continually present you with lessons about what and where in life you need to transform. He will consistently and often painfully point out to you where you are a slave to yourself or the situation you are in, and how and why you should take your power back and step into mastership instead. With the energy of Pluto, it is his way or the highway. Pluto is the Ruler of the Underworld, and so when we are learning his lessons, we are facing our own individual underworlds as well as the underworld of the collective. And as we know, you cannot change the collective or the world around you until you change yourself first.
Pluto in Capricorn has had and is having the purpose of encouraging all of us to look to where we are stuck in old ways, revisiting the same old traditional way of doing things and living our lives, and of course, where we take life and/or ourselves too seriously. During this powerful transit, it is our opportunity as individuals to let go of the old to bring in the new. To allow ourselves to create our own personal structures and beliefs that align with what we need as individuals and that enable us to become the best version of ourselves, we can be. And to allow us to see where we are trapped in other people’s agendas or beliefs, and therefore slaves to what others want from us rather than the Masters of our own journeys. It is OK to say No when you want to, and it’s also OK to not have to justify yourself for saying No. It’s OK to have your own beliefs and your own truth, and it’s OK to make your own rules and live within your own structures. Pluto in Capricorn is systematically breaking down all that no longer has a positive purpose in our lives, whether that be our personal stuff or the collective stuff. It is an incredibly powerful transit designed to break down the old ways of being that are now SO outdated, unnecessary and divisive so as we can free ourselves of the old to bring in the new. And I might add here that the last time Pluto transited through the sign of Capricorn was the time of the French Revolution which was then closely followed by the American Revolution. Pluto in Capricorn destroys the old patriarchal energies that have controlled us for so long, so as we can become the Masters of the new world that we choose to create. In 2025 when Pluto moves into Aquarius, we will be blessed with a powerful 17-18 years where humanity as a whole will be more independent and find the ability to solve many of its old problems with new solutions. It will also be a time where the need for us to work together as a whole for the greatest good of ALL concerned, will be infinitely more important than our own outdated capitalistic agendas.
Neptune, the planet of illusion, deception and imagination has been transiting through Pisces since 2012 and will continue his transit through this sign of the zodiac until 2025. So, in the same year that Pluto the mighty transformer moves into the energy of Aquarius, Neptune will move into Aries.
The transit of Neptune through Pisces has been a very intense one because Neptune is at home in Pisces and therefore a lot more powerful. What this has and is creating is a generation of souls born between 2012 and 2025 who will be very spiritually awakened and aware. They are a generation of souls who are very creative and spiritual but who may lack the ambition or focus to achieve their goals through the use of this energy. We are all born 100% connected to Spirit; we are all born intuitive and with the ability to manifest our heart’s desires. However, from Day One on the earth plane, we start to be conditioned to become more human and less spiritual. We do need to embrace our humanness to survive in this world as well as to evolve, but we are also here to co-create with the Universe. Neptune in Pisces is our opportunity as individuals and as a collective to re-visit and re-connect with our spiritual and true being. Therefore, during this time frame, we have seen much advancement in Spiritual Teachings, therapies, modalities, Courses, Books, Podcasts and so much more. As a collective, we have and are being awakened to our spiritual connections and to our ability to work with our Guides and Helpers on the other side of the veil for the highest good of humanity. There has also been during this time more and more information being revealed as well as learning to connect us with our Galactic Families who are ready and waiting to do their bit to assist humanity, once we have raised our vibrations to a higher level.
So, the generational planets such as Neptune and Pluto teach us about the long slow lessons that humanity need to not only learn but believe in and live as, to evolve and move forward. Pluto is making it very clear to us what we DON’T want, need or benefit from in life anymore, and Neptune is encouraging us to see through the illusion that we are on our own here and are not connected with or able to use our spiritual/intuitive abilities. Both of these slow-moving planets are awakening us steadily and relentlessly to what we need to change within ourselves and as a collective.
In this time of the Great Awakening of mankind, we are not alone – we have never been alone, and we never will be. We are loved and honoured by Spirit and our Galactic Helpers, and the more we can connect with these energies the more help we will find we have and the more optimism and opportunity there will be for change and the evolution of the planet. So, don’t be afraid to let go of what does not serve a positive purpose in your life – no matter what that might be. And don’t ever for one minute think that you don’t have your own barrage of Spiritual Helpers and Guides who love you and want nothing more than to help you along your soul’s journey. You are here at this time on the earth plane because you and your energy are integral in some way to the evolution of this planet and NOW is the time to wake up to who you truly are, and stand in your own divine power.
