Today’s Full Moon in Taurus is a powerful and positive one. At this Full Moon when our emotions can be so heightened, and our imaginations run wild we can ground ourselves and connect to what is “real”.
This has been an intense month, topping off and bringing closer to fruition a massive year of learning for all of us. The powerful Scorpio energy that has been affecting us of late has had us all going deep into our inner and underworlds; delving into the toxic and darker sides of our personalities and encouraging us to discard all that does not serve a positive purpose in our lives. And then along came Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio giving us a much-needed opportunity to really dig deep, to re-visit and most importantly re-search within ourselves our hidden talents, our beautiful sensitivity and creativity, and all the incredible self-empowerment that comes when we honour all of these things. There is no doubt about it, 2019 has been a year of learning and it’s not quite finished with us yet.
As this Full Moon is falling in an earth sign, we can really gain much-needed clarity and focus to connect the dots of all that has come to pass to date this year. The energy of Taurus grounds us and connects us to what is real. It allows us to see through our own illusions and the fairy tales that we tell ourselves, and to also see through the illusions created by those around us that we can so readily buy into and own as our own. What comes up at this Full Moon can be a feeling and awareness that we are finally hitting the proverbial nail on the head – or finally finding the clarity and truth of what we are really dealing with, and how to learn from this.
So much has been presented to us all this year particularly through who and what we allow to influence us, how we emotionally view the world we live in and our true role or purpose in all of this. Self-awareness and self-love always help us to learn, but self-criticism and self-loathing just put brick walls in the way of this.
The powerful Taurean energy of this Full Moon can shed so much clarity and practical purpose on all of this for you, and you can from here devise the tools and steps you need to take to use all of this to your advantage. As a result of this you can then step into the final 6 weeks of 2019 having not just been presented with many life-changing lessons, but with the clarity and personal ability to have learned something significant from all of these.
This year has been designed to prepare us for what is to come, so as what we are faced with – whether challenging or easy – we can approach from a space of self-awareness and self-empowerment and not be swept away by the emotions that come with life on the earth plane.
We are still in the throes of Mercury Retrograde, so although this Full Moon will bring us clarity and understanding so we can act on what we learn – I would encourage you to keep searching and re-visiting your inner worlds for more clues and more answers before you act on them – we are not quite out of the woods yet.
I would like to ask you all to spend some time within this Full Moon energy to reflect back on this year to date and all that you have been through, and allow yourself to put all the emotions and circumstances to one side so as you can see what you have learned about your life, your power, your abilities and your inner world. And then congratulate yourself for all the hard work you have done to be able to see through your illusions and to develop yourself to become a much better version of yourself than you were when this year began.
