On 27 September 2026 we have a Full Moon in Aries. An Aries Full Moon has a powerful influence on leadership, solidarity and disclosure. Arian energy tends to be very black and white or right and wrong which means that we can all miss the “coloured” or “grey” areas in between where the real learning and understanding lie.
Full Moons bring things to the surface and are a time of fruition; the end result or culmination of what we set our intentions on at the New Moon.
And so when we have a full Moon viewed and felt through the lens of Aries, it can be a powerful opportunity to put yourself first, to take the lead and to stand up for what matters the most to you and what you feel is right. Therefore one of things to be very aware of at the time of this Full Moon is the personal need to come first, or put your own needs first. Now on the one hand putting yourself first is extremely important as if you don’t give to yourself first you don’t have as much to give to others. BUT, at the same time, it is never all about you and what you think, believe and want. Remember Full Moons occur when the Moon is opposing the Sun – so at the time of this Full Moon we have the Sun in Libra which is the sign of compatibility, co-operation and working together.
Stand up for what YOU believe in
So, at the time of this Full Moon you are being asked to stand up for what you believe in and to take the lead in your own life, but at the same time to be aware of doing such things for the highest good of ALL concerned and not just for yourself and your own personal drive and determination.
On the global stage and for the collective this Full Moon is another opportunity for revelations and for those at the top to fall from grace. Aries energy demands transparency and does not believe in hiding things, or sugar-coating them either! And as Aries also represents leadership, we may well find more leaders/celebrities etc being exposed for their lack of authenticity, alignment with their own egos and the powers that be, and most importantly for the pushing of the dark agendas.
The Full Moon in Aries will conjunct (work alongside) the energies of Saturn and Neptune both Retrograde in Aries at this time. So the Moon will be shining its light on our inner Arian worlds as well as how we feel and behave outwardly at this time.
Saturn’s Retrograde journey through Aries is very much about finding the discipline and focus to work through the negative thoughts and beliefs that keep you feeling that you are not good enough. As the Moon represents our emotions this could mean that such feelings become glaringly obvious to you at this time so you can not only experience them but see them for what they are – the self-sabotaging ways that you can too easily buy into.
Detach from your emotions
Neptune’s Retrograde journey through Aries is encouraging us to see through our inner illusions of power or lack of. It encourages you to look at your highest dreams and goals and to not be afraid to step into these and to also reveal the gifts and talents you possess that you have buried within you. The Full Moon in Aries is illuminating the lies and challenging beliefs that you cling to and showing you how such things are attached to your emotions and when we detach from our emotions and don’t allow these to rule us, we can find peace, resolution and purpose.
Chiron, the wounded healer, has also just retrograded out of Taurus and all the way back into Aries for the next few months. This is our last chance to really understand and heal that wound of rejection you may feel that makes you believe that you are not good enough in some way. Chiron in Taurus for the next 7 years after this Retrograde period is going to challenge all of us on our sense of security and what makes us feel safe in this lifetime. And so to be able to create that kind of deep and lasting security, we first need to believe in ourselves and to be able to take charge of our own lives. This is the Year of Sovereignty – a time where humanity begins to take its power back by each of us knowing and acting upon what is best for us, as individuals and as a community.
There are also some powerful aspects being formed between this Full Moon and the planets Pluto and Uranus. When these 2 powerhouses come into play, we can always expect the unexpected as well as the opportunity for a higher awareness of ourselves and what we represent to come forward. We are all being encouraged to transform and to not be afraid to do so in a way that represents you, in all that you are. These aspects are showing us how we can take the lead and radically reshape our goals and ideas based on higher awareness, recognising our own strengths and stepping up in some way.
Under the influence of Aries it is very easy to say “pick me” and to be able to step into your authenticity and true self and because the energy of Libra is also in play, it is also easier for us to see where we can lead others, speak up for others and not be afraid to be a part of something greater. This is a very powerful Full Moon which will trigger humanity and people everywhere to stand up for what they believe in, to speak up and to take their power back where it has been stripped from them in the past.
