2025 was the year of “authenticity”, a year when we all had to level up and let go in some way. It was a year of aligning our inside world with our outside world – a year where it was essential that what you were putting out was aligned with who you truly are and what you truly believe. The importance of authenticity became clearer and clearer as the illusions around us started to disintegrate and it became harder and harder, and especially for those following the spiritual path, to be anything but who you truly are.
And in order to step fully into our authenticity, we had to let go; let go of anything and anyone in our lives that was not aligned with our authenticity. If your job or career was not allowing you to be who you truly are and to share and celebrate your unique gifts and talents, you left that job. And if the people around you were not on the same wave-length as you or were not aligned with your core values, you let them go. Or, if a place you were living was not aligned with what you needed to progress or find peace, you moved on and let that go. EVERYBODY went through some sort of ending in 2025 and those of you who tried to hold on to what was obviously slipping through your fingers and not meant for you anymore, have found it the most difficult.
2025 – the Number 9 Year
2025 was a number 9 year – and 9’s represent endings; the culmination of a journey, the end of a stage of learning and development in your life and the opportunity to close the door on what no longer serves you well. All of these endings were incredibly necessary, but not always pleasant, because 2026 is a number 1 year – a year of New Beginnings. For new things to come into your life there must be space created for them so you had to let go of what was outdated in your life to make room to invite in all that is aligned with you and for your highest good and progress moving forward through the next 9 year cycle on the earth plane.
So, in 2025 we aligned with our authenticity – we let go of and moved on from what no longer worked for us – and we started to look forward to what new things we could bring into our lives; what new areas we could explore and what new opportunities were waiting for us.
As we came to the end of 2025 we also came to the end of the Age of Illusion. The Age of Illusion was created by the 15+ year transit of Neptune through his home sign of Pisces. Under this influence we all bought into the illusions being presented to us. Illusions such as the importance of celebrities and what they think and do; the illusion that our governments and “powers that be” have our best interests at heart; the illusion that someone with power or a louder voice has the right to tell you what to do; and the illusion that we had to comply to survive. 2025’s push towards authenticity allowed us to see through the illusion by understanding how uncomfortable and even wrong it felt to follow or believe something that did not align with you or even make sense to you. As the illusion shattered our eyes were opened once again to ourselves and the importance of knowing what is right for you.
29 Degrees of Pisces – The End of the Journey
As we enter 2026, we will do so with Neptune at the last degree of Pisces. 29 degrees of any sign of the zodiac is pivotal – it represents the end of an old way; the final part of the journey we have been on and gives us our last opportunity to dream and imagine what matters the most to us before we start on a major new chapter of our soul’s journey.

For the next approximately 14 years Neptune will transit through Aries and the illusion we will be working through here will be the illusion of “self”. This will be a time for everyone to understand and make the best use of their personal power through sharing their gifts, speaking up, taking the lead and standing up for what they believe in. But we can’t all be leaders, we can’t all be right and we can’t all have our own way. Neptune in Aries asks you to see through the illusion that it’s all about you and your way – rather it asks you to see where your individual strengths lie, what you have to offer and how we can all work together as one.
What we need to focus on as 2026 begins is our dreams. What is your dream? What would you love more than anything to manifest in your life? What highest ideal or fantasy do you have that you would like to make real?
Once Neptune hits Aries in January 2026 we will begin to formulate the foundation we need to base our dreams on. But, the real game-changer comes when Saturn, our teacher and disciplinarian, enters Aries fully on 14 February 2026 for the next 3 years. Saturn has spent the last 3 years transiting through Pisces where he has not been comfortable at all. He resisted the illusion of Neptune in Pisces and used this energy instead to ask us all “what do YOU want?” Saturn in Pisces taught us about the importance of self-discipline, hard work and focus and how if we want our dreams to become our reality we must focus on them, work hard at them and believe in them.
And the wonderful thing is that from around the end of February 2026, when Saturn and Neptune are both fully settled in action packed Aries, we will all find it a lot easier to create the necessary structures and foundations in our lives to get our dreams and goals off the ground. So, don’t try too hard now, don’t think that you have to start off your New Year with a definite plan or goal – these things will become SO much clearer and you will have so much more focus and clarity from the end of February 2026, so use the time between now and then to dream BIG.
However, from a more global perspective, Aries is ruled by Mars and Mars is the planet of war. I feel we can expect, especially in the first half of 2026 more warlike behaviour from around the world. Aries is very competitive and always likes to win, and so this energy may well aggravate already volatile situations. We need to watch out for our own anger too, and take our time to process things rather than react spontaneously to what is going on around us. Stay in your own energy and observe rather than absorb. The more you can stay in your peace, the better chance the world around you also has of staying in its peace.
In 2025 we experienced literally ALL the outer planets changing signs except for Chiron and the North Node. This was highly unusual as all the planets move through their own individual orbits and in their own individual timeframes and so for 5 major planets to come together in one 12 month period and make such significant shifts, it had to affect us all on the earth plane. As the outer planets that rule our direction, destiny and learning shift signs they bring a new energy to the earth plane.
As above, so below
If change is in the air around us then change is what we will then experience in our lives. As the planets “let go” of the signs they had been transiting through, and for quite some time in many cases, we are encouraged to let go too. It’s as if the planets above us are paving the way for the changes to come and flooding us with the positive energy we need to step out of the old and into the new.
In July 2026 Chiron will move out of Aries and into Taurus. Therefore, at the time of writing, Chiron has approximately 7.5 months left in Aries where he is currently in Retrograde motion. 7 years of Chiron in Aries has been all about humanity learning to put a worth on themselves and for us all to know that we no matter what we do and what we experience, we are good enough. Good enough to lead, good enough to stand on our own two feet and good enough to stand up for ourselves and what we believe in. We have ALL been challenged by this powerful transit, and with only 7.5 months of this to go, it is imperative that everyone steps up in their sense of self-belief and self-worth to embrace their sovereignty.
2026 – The Year of Sovereignty
2026 is the year of Sovereignty. What does this mean? This means that in 2026 we are all understanding and remembering that we have a voice, an ability to critically think for ourselves and our own inner power. Sovereignty is about you doing you and doing so simply because this is your choice, your right and your life. Once upon a time we were all sovereign beings who had no problem speaking up about what we thought or believed in and making decisions based on what was best for YOU. Under the Age of Illusion and for many many years leading up to this, sovereignty has been taken away from us through the media, education systems, health regulations and political and economic powers. We have been conditioned to NOT think for ourselves and to believe that “others” know what is best for us, and to give away our personal power. And this is not what we incarnated here for.

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was the time of the French Revolution which was swiftly followed by the American Revolution. A time when the people took their power back; a time where the world had become so difficult and unfair for the average person, that humanity had no choice but to bring down the system and those responsible for it.
The Age of Aquarius
In 2026 we all get to remember what it was like to make our own decisions, to follow what makes sense to you and to step up and onto your path and your dreams. The powerful Arian energy, combined with the Age of Aquarius will make it easier in so many ways for each and every one of us to feel confident in our decision making, to speak up and step up when we feel driven too, and to embrace and celebrate all that is unique, innovative and intuitive.
Uranus will settle fully into Gemini in 2026 for a 7 year transit. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was between 1941 and 1949 – the end of World War 2 and the transformative years after this. The “nuclear age” began in 1942 in the USA and so further developments of the nuclear age could also be a strong component of Uranus’s transit through Gemini, particularly in the first few years of this transit. Uranus in Gemini will shake things up within communications and technology. As with the explosion of mass communications through new technologies back in the late 1940’s, we will see the same thing happen over the next 7 years however I feel the developments in communication this time will be more to do with intuition, telepathy and light language. Yes of course, there will be the more “man-made” advances through AI etc, but from a higher perspective, and remember Uranus is always about the higher perspective, this is about humanity evolving and growing to become a better version of itself. Uranus in Gemini will bring A LOT of opportunities for change and diversification and so the first year of this could be a bit frazzling as we are confronted with so much in our lives. Therefore, it will be important to practise discernment. The pull to do and be everything to everyone will be strong, and this is where you have to once again come back to your sovereignty and focus on what works for YOU.
The North Node will move out of Pisces where he has been for the last year or so, and into Aquarius in August 2026. The North Node represents our destiny as a collective and the potential we have to work with. The North Node in Aquarius promotes community, innovation and working together for the highest good of humanity in general. He will join Pluto here and together for the next 18 months they will instigate change that celebrates our differences and supports these so as we can come together in our diversity, rather than be divided by it, as we have for so long. These two planets of transformation will oppose Jupiter in Leo towards the end of 2026 and this could cause a lot of tension between what we desire and what is “allowed”. But so long as you remember to put yourself first, you can keep following your chosen path.
Being a Number 1 year and as we fully embrace the Age of Aquarius and the power of Aries, 2026 will be another powerful year full of changes and revelations. The more you can stay in your own energy and believe in what feels right for you, the more comfortable this year will be for you. If you are still dancing to someone else’s drumbeat, or ticking other people’s boxes rather than your own, or busy riding someone else’s coat tails, 2026 will be very difficult for you. It is time to step into your true power which is the power of being wonderfully and unapologetically YOU. What you feel and know is relevant. What you think and create is useful. And, what you intuit and sense is your true guidance. For too long we have all had to hide our differences, play down our quirkiness and deny our feelings and intuition, and this is not how we should be – not now not ever. It’s time to remember; to wake up to who you truly are. To embrace what you feel inside of you and to celebrate this. You are a powerful soul who has come to the earth plane at this time to be an integral part of the Great Awakening and Reset and you have a very important role to play.

The 2020’s were always predicted to be the most challenging decade of this century and we are now nearly half way through – phew! Think back to who you were in 2020 – how much have you changed? And how ready are you now to stand in your own power, be your own person and follow your own dreams? 2026 is the beginning of the new way forward; the beginning of the New Earth and it will be and should be decided by the people of this planet, and not by the 1%, and with anything that brings such change there will be upset and chaos.
Step into 2026 with courage, conviction and with your highest ideals and dreams as your focus and purpose. Don’t be afraid to express yourself, explore your dreams and be who you truly are. You are always enough, you are always loved and you are always a Spirit having a human experience. Believe in yourself, trust in yourself and most importantly LOVE yourself – this is the power of sovereignty.
